A Tangled Lights Production

A Tangled Lights Production started with one Christmas tree in 2008. Andrew Wilhelm was fascinated by electricity. One night, he played Carol of the Bells by Trans Siberian Orchestra and sat under the Christmas tree, plugging it in and out to the beat of the music. As the years went on, more and more lights were added to our indoor Christmas light show. Once we ran out of space in the living room for any more lights, we decided to make the light show bigger and better . . . outside! Through the years, we have added a spiral tree, a pixel tree, eight 7′ trees, two snowmen, four arches, luminaries, a 10′ x 16′ pixel board, pixel sticks, 4 moving head spotlights, and 4 singing faces.

The Creator

Andrew Wilhelm, a twenty-year-old senior in college, has loved everything lights and electricity from a very young age. In 2015, Andrew discovered Light-O-Rama, a program designed for Christmas light shows. He used Light-O-Rama for 4 years then on year 5 (2019-2020) switched over to xLights and is still using that today. The Tangled Light show is his passion. He is constantly planning for the next thing. He manages to juggle college, 2 LLCs, family, friends, and the light show while finding time to relax . . . sometimes. Andrew has an amazing crew that helps make the shows possible. He is very thankful for each and every person that comes to enjoy the show!
